Foster a culture where safety is upheld as a core value.

Empower personnel to intervene and prevent unsafe acts.

Set, monitor, and review health and safety objectives and targets.

Apply robust management of change processes.

Provide personnel with appropriate site inductions, awareness, training, knowledge, resources, and support needed to meet health and safety objectives.

Identify and manage health and safety hazards and risks to a level that is So Far As Is Low As Reasonably Practicable (SFAIRP).

Establish, implement, maintain, and routinely test controls for major accident events.

Establish, maintain, and regularly test emergency management procedures.

Define clear health and safety performance expectations for contractors and suppliers and work collaboratively with them to achieve these.

Communicate openly with internal and external stakeholders on health and safety matters.

Ensure risks are effectively controlled before implementing changes.

Drive continual improvement in health and safety performance through monitoring, auditing, and reviews. 

This policy applies to all Strike-controlled activities and related project locations across Australia. It will be prominently displayed at all company workplaces, published on the company intranet, and reviewed on a regular basis.
