Strike is an independent energy explorer and producer, which was founded in 1997 and listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in 2004 (ASX: STX).

Strike is a trailblazer in the Australian energy landscape, focused on creating value for our shareholders and the community through our Perth Basin assets. Through strategic partnerships, cutting-edge technology, and a dedicated team of industry experts, we aim to achieve remarkable outcomes in even the most challenging geological and logistical settings.

Strike has recently become Australia’s newest E&P company after successfully bringing its maiden natural gas project, Walyering, online in September 2023. This completes Strike’s journey from independent explorer to producer, which has not been done in Western Australia for over 10 years.

Our near-term focus is the development of the significant gas discoveries at South and West Erregulla, in WA’s Perth Basin.  

Strike has a significant exploration acreage position in the Perth Basin, which we will continue to explore to define what we believe are significant gas fairways in both the Permian to the north and the Jurassic to south. 

Using a combination of abundant, affordable natural gas, and renewable energy, we are building an integrated energy business that will be able to support Western Australia’s energy transition.
